Ten kilometres off the coast of Peniche, in the north of Lisbon, lies the Berlengas archipelago, declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The archipelago is made up of three islands where nature and wildlife prevail over man, which is why the only island that can be visited is Berlenga Grande. The Berlengas archipelago is one of the best kept secrets of the Algarve coast, a paradise of paradisiacal beaches and crystal clear waters known to few.

The excursion lasts about 3.5 hours and you will set sail from the port of Peniche to the Berlenga Island. For about 2 hours you can explore the island, its caves, cliffs and swimming before returning to Peiche.

Activity requirements
Berlenga Island Tourist Tax: 3€ a day
For ecological reasons, access to Berlenga Island is limited in terms of the number of visitors.

Failure to comply with these rules set out in Ordinance No. 19/2022, of January 5th, will result in the impossibility of disembarking on the island and/or corresponding fines.
